First of all, Oprah is my spirit animal. Anything she does, I want to do. If I could find another human being with the name Stedman, I would have probably gotten into a long-term non-marital relationship with him. I’m at that level.

So, it seemed natural I create my own book club. My husband seems to think I’m not at Oprah levels. But, I say, “Watch me.”

Right now, I am positioning this as an annual review of books I have read and loved. If you all are just screaming, “Mrs. Mommy Mack, what do I read next?! I can’t possibly wait another year without your stamp of approval!” Then, I will increase my recommendations.

Also, I consider lengthy book reviews to be pretentious hogwash. Since I am above that boobery, I am going to merely make ten recommendations in ten categories. I’m all about being right to the point.

Since this is my first annual Mrs. Mommy Mack Book Club — I am putting all-time fave books in here, not necessarily ones I read this past year and definitely not published in 2016. Enjoy!

  1. I’ve not read any of these yet! I’ve been wanting to read Rebecca for a while though. I read a lot of different genres but romance is definitely my fave!
